COURSE DESCRIPTION
Diploma of Community Welfare Work -: This course runs for two years and covers a diverse range of topics including OH&S , counselling and administration. The course includes 400 hours of work experience . Graduates of this course will find work in the Community Services industry and will operate at an advanced skill level and may also have the responsibility for the supervision of other staff and volunteers.
You will explore many different areas.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
A LAPTOP COMPUTER capable of processing all the software required for the course, particularly with wireless networking. Software required for the course can be purchased at student discounts through the College after payment of College fees.

EXIT POINTS:
Learners who exit the Diploma of Community Welfare Work prior to completion may request a Statement of Attainment for units satisfactorily completed
APPLICATION / ENROLMENT
Application forms for full time study are available from the AICA of Art Head Office and the AICA website and should be submitted to Head Office. (Intake occurs twice yearly February and July).
ASSESSMENT / AWARD:
Assessments may be conducted through oral, written and practical methods.
